Omar Rios

Omar Rios is a Nicaraguan guitarist and composer living in London. He started playing the guitar at 11 years old and has played in several countries throughout a 17 year professional career, including Colombia, Russia, the United States, Belgium, Spain, Costa Rica, Honduras, and the UK. His music is influenced by flamenco, rock, jazz, fusion, and Latin American music, among many others.

Having recently sold out the legendary London Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street with his Quartet, Omar will be releasing his debut album, 'Aurora', featuring the same line-up, later this year.

 

In addition to his playing with his Quartet Omar also offers shows playing solo guitar as well as a duo show, alongside fellow guitarist Artur King.
