Omar Puente & Ilario Ferrari Duo

Cuban Jazz violin virtuoso Omar Puente and pianist-composer Ilario Ferarri have become good friends over the past few years, frequently playing together in a variety of ensembles, and developing a duo project titled “Mediterranean meets Cuba". The show explores the common ground and new possibilities that come from the encounter of the afro-cuban Jazz tradition and the Mediterranean Culture.

They have performed this project in various venues across the UK and are currently working on an album together which will be released in 2024.
