Ed Renshaw Music Award

Helping Young Musicians resident in South East London to achieve their potential.

The Ed Renshaw Music Award was set up in memory of guitarist Edward Renshaw. The award is bi-annual, and is intended to help young musicians in South East London.

There are grants of up to £2000 for the award-winners, either single musicians or a collective, to help further their career in music. The panel will be looking for originality, commitment and talent regardless of genre. In addition, mentoring and industry support will be available from PCM/PCP. Advice, space and artist development support is available from the Albany and the winners will also be a part of an ‘Evening for Ed’: a fundraising concert at the Albany, where the presentation will be made.

Applicants must be aged 16-25 and be resident in South East London.
