A host of artists from PCM's very own roster performed as part of a stunning Gala Concert at the newly built St. James' Theatre, Victoria on 7th Dec. MD on the evening was Alex Wilson and he was joined by ESKA, Gwyneth Herbert, Alexander Stewart, James  Gwyn Jay Allen, Femi Temowo and Niamh McNally. Click here for LondonJazzBlog review.

Following a stunning performance to a sellout crowd at Hackney Empire which rightly earned himslef and his stellar band a standing ovation, Soweto Kinch's re-written score of one of Alfred Hitchcock's silent movies 'The Ring' based on boxing in the East End of London in the 1920s went to Kerala, India, to open the Kerala Film Festival in December. It was a huge success greeted by a crowd of over 3000.

Jay Phelps wowed the crowds with his effortless flow as he was one of the special guests for Wynton Marsalis' Congo Square show at the Barbican. Jack Masarik gave the performance  5 stars in what is just another display of Jay's superb talent. With a number of performances for both his quartet and his Big Band feat. Clare Teal coming up this Autumn Jay just keeps going from strength to strength.

The album has garnered a huge amount of media interest with him featuring on page. 3 of the Evening Standard (14/2), BBC Radio LDN, BBC 5Live and Channel 5 News...something tells us this is going to be a very good year for the budding superstar!
