PCM are proud to present the live launch of Sonic Navigation a unique project which aims to explore the lineage of improvised music referencing those 60’s and 70’s jazz recordings that influence live british hiphop, spoken word and contemporary jazz and also how the music cross-pollinates. Sonic Navigation, the brainchild of Finn Peters launches on Tuesday 18th November @ Cargo, Old Street as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. PCM have yet again been commissioned by Canary Wharf Arts and Events to programme the eighth Canary Wharf Jazz Festival (15 - 17 August). The largest free jazz festval in the UK, we are now in the process of approaching artists to perform outdoors in Canada Square Park. Watch this space for the full line-up.

Acclaimed jazz pianist Kate Williams and conductor William Goodchild have been awarded an Arts Council of England 'Grants for the Arts' to enable them to perform two concerts of music by jazz pianist Bill Evans and the Impressionist composers - Ravel, Debussy and Satie in Bristol (Colston Hall - 9 March) featuring Kate's trio and the Bristol Ensemble and London (Milton Court - 24 March) again featuring Kate's trio and Guildhall School musicians.
