Following a stunning performance to a sellout crowd at Hackney Empire which rightly earned himslef and his stellar band a standing ovation, Soweto Kinch's re-written score of one of Alfred Hitchcock's silent movies 'The Ring' based on boxing in the East End of London in the 1920s went to Kerala, India, to open the Kerala Film Festival in December. It was a huge success greeted by a crowd of over 3000.
